George Richard M'Clenaghan
George Richard M'CLENAGHAN, vicar of Brockham 1896-1901,
was born about 1865. He was at Trinity College Dublin, BA 1887,
MA 1891; deacon 1888, priest 1889, by the Bishop of Derry. He
was curate of Conwall, Donegal 1888-90, Staincliffe, York 1890-91,
Yeovil 1891-94, and Epsom 1894-96. He was vicar of Brockham
1896-1901 (pop'n11l00), vicar of Tuddenham St Martin, Norwich,
1901-06, licenced in Norwich 1907-10, chaplain to Ipswich prison
1910-15, rector of Bildeston, Suffolk, 1915-22, and vicar of
Rushmere St Andrew 1922-26. He retired in 1926 to Beccles,
moved to Southwold during the war, and died in 1947.
